Flywheel
The $WDYT flywheel
Where every protocol fee on wdyt goes. 60% goes back to $WDYT: bought back and burned for good, and spent on the biggest coins launched here, airdropped to everyone holding $WDYT. 40% runs wdyt.

01
Where every protocol fee goes
Every SOL wdyt earns is split three ways the moment it lands. 60% feeds the flywheel and goes back to $WDYT. 40% pays for running wdyt.

Where the money comes from
wdyt takes a small fee on everything that happens on it. Nobody pays anything new for the flywheel: it spends fees wdyt already earns.

1 event
- Every buy before launch. wdyt keeps 0.95% of every Yes and No buy made on wdyt.fun (0.7% when another site sends it, since that site keeps its own share).
- Every trade after launch. 0.16% of every trade in a launched coin's locked pool, its share of the 1.25% pool fee.
- Every launch. 1% of the SOL a coin launches with.
- Nothing new to pay. The flywheel spends fees wdyt already takes. Creators, traders and holder vaults keep exactly what they get today.
03
Bought back and burned
36% of every protocol fee buys $WDYT on the open market and burns it. Burned coins are gone for good, so the supply only goes down.

Example: a 50 SOL day
- Small buys, not one big one. The burn share buys $WDYT in small pieces. Small buys move the price less than one big one, and keep steady buying in the market.
- Burned right away. Every buy's coins are burned as soon as the buy lands. Nothing is kept.
- The supply only goes down. Burned coins are gone for good. With every buyback there are fewer $WDYT, and each one left is a bigger share.
- You can check every one. Every buyback is published with its transaction, so anyone can see what was bought and burned.
04
The top 10 coins, for $WDYT holders
24% of every protocol fee buys the biggest coins launched on wdyt and airdrops them to $WDYT holders. Holding $WDYT means holding a slice of the best of what launches here.

Example holders
- The biggest coins launched here. The 10 coins launched on wdyt with the highest market cap, $WDYT aside, that meet the bar: 1,000 SOL market cap, live for at least a day.
- Burned until then. While no coin meets the bar, the holders' share buys back and burns $WDYT with the rest, so none of it sits idle.
- Bought with the holders' share. The holders' share builds up and buys the basket, split evenly across its coins.
- Airdropped by how much you hold. Every $WDYT holder gets its share of every coin in the basket, by how much $WDYT it holds. Nothing to claim.
- Small shares wait. A share too small to be worth sending carries over to the next airdrop instead of costing more to send than it's worth.

The rules
Everything above, in one place.
- What counts as a protocol fee
- wdyt's 0.95% of every buy before launch made on wdyt.fun, its 0.16% of every trade in a launched coin's locked pool, and the 1% launch fee. Creator fees and holder vaults aren't protocol fees and don't change.
- The split
- 36% bought back and burned, 24% top coins for $WDYT holders, 40% operations. Any change to the split is announced before it applies.
- Buybacks
- Small buys of $WDYT, each burned as soon as it lands, sized so that no single buy moves the price much.
- The basket
- The 10 coins launched on wdyt with the highest market cap, $WDYT aside, that meet the bar: 1,000 SOL market cap, live for at least a day. They're bought with the holders' share, split evenly. Until a coin meets the bar, the holders' share is bought back and burned too.
- Airdrops
- To $WDYT holders, by how much they hold. Pools, programs and wdyt's own wallets don't count. A share too small to be worth sending carries over to the next airdrop.
- Schedule and limits
- Set by the team and announced before the first run: the start date, how often it runs, and the limits on each buy.
- Transparency
- Every buyback, burn and airdrop is published with its transaction.
